The short version: we ship on four trade terms to most of the world, the canopy is warranted for 28 months from the day you sign for it, and you have 7 days to inspect the packaging. The full version is published below — a policy that only exists in a sales call isn't a policy.
Shipping
Trade terms
| Term | We handle | You handle |
|---|---|---|
| EXW | Factory-gate handover | Everything from our dock |
| FOB | Export customs + loading the ship | Ocean freight, insurance, import customs |
| DAP | Freight to your address | Import customs + duties |
| DDP | Freight, insurance, customs clearance and duties | Nothing until it arrives at your door |
Door-to-door DAP/DDP covers most countries and regions. For Brazil, Mexico, Israel, Iraq, Iran, India and Indonesia we quote EXW only — your forwarder collects at our Zhongshan factory.
Lead time
Every canopy is made to order — nothing ships from a shelf. Standard lead time is 15–25 working days from order confirmation; production itself takes 20–25 days depending on configuration and season. We quote a firm production window with every price. Custom configurations take longer — the quote says by how much.
Packing
Single canopies ship strapped in wooden crates with corner protection — the packing photos on this site are real shipments. Bulk runs also go out in reinforced export cartons, the ones you see loaded into our containers in the factory loading footage. A 20HQ container loads 25 units, and canopies ship as single-unit freight. We photograph every crate before it leaves the factory; ask and the photos are yours.
On arrival — your 7-day inspection window
- Photograph every face of the crate before unpacking, while the delivery driver is still there.
- Note any packaging damage on the delivery receipt before you sign.
- Open and inspect within 7 days of signing.
- Found something? Photograph it, email us, and we respond within 24 hours.
Damage reported inside the window is handled as a claim, not a dispute — the photographs you took are the evidence.
Warranty
Coverage
- Duration: 28 months, from the day you sign for delivery.
- Scope: manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship — structure, welds, panel integrity and hardware function. Seal strips are wear items (estimated 5–6 year service life, theoretical estimate); replacements are stocked as spares.
- The warranty follows the product, not the buyer: second owner, same remaining coverage. the warranty stays with the original buyer and is not transferable
What's not covered
- Damage from accident, misuse, or overloading beyond rated capacities (roof load 150–500 kg static on canopies by material and thickness; 250 kg+ dynamic on racks)
- Improper installation or modification, including drilling and re-welding
- Normal wear — finish fade, stone chips, and wear parts as they age. Seal strips (estimated 5–6 year service life) are wear items — replacement strips are stocked spares
Making a claim
- Email photos or a short video of the issue.
- We respond within 24 hours (committed).
- Resolution: spare parts, repair guidance by video, or replacement — determined by what's actually wrong, not by what's cheapest.
- Spare parts dispatch: replacement parts ship in 5–7 days
After the warranty
Seal strips, hardware and panels remain available as spare parts after the 28 months — ask with your model year and we'll quote the part, not a new canopy. Even after a model is discontinued, spare parts remain orderable for 3 years — we keep the patterns and stock the wear items.
