Quick Answer: A vehicle-side awning gives you a shaded, rain-covered work or camp area in under two minutes — mounted to the same rails as our racks, canopies and rooftop tents. We build 180° to 280° fan awnings and straight-out side shelters, quoted per truck and rail system.
Two formats, different jobs
- Fan (batwing) awnings — 180° to 280° — one mount point, coverage around the side and rear of the truck. The 280° layouts use multiple support poles and stay up in wind where a straight awning would not. Best for camp kitchens, market stalls and field work crews.
- Straight-out side shelters — roll out from a hard case or soft shell along the vehicle side. Cheaper, lighter, faster to pack away. Best for overnight stops and shade over one work door.
Hard-case (ABS) versions protect the fabric inside a lockable shell; soft-shell versions pack smaller and lighter. Optional walls and mesh rooms zip on for insects and privacy.
How it mounts
Every awning bolts to a flat surface with T-slot rails — our platform racks, canopy roof rails or a dedicated awning bracket. The mount is confirmed against your configuration before quoting; on a Trigallop canopy the same roof-rail rating that carries a rooftop tent carries the awning.
What we quote
Coverage angle (180° / 270° / 280°), case material (ABS hard case or PVC soft shell), fabric weight, LED lighting strips, and wall or mesh-room options — quoted per configuration. EXW / FOB / DAP / DDP as with the rest of the line.
