Quick Answer: A hardshell rooftop tent turns any pickup canopy or rack into a sleeping platform above the dust, mud and camp traffic. We build aluminium and ABS shell tents quoted per model — the mount is confirmed against your canopy or rack rating in writing before you order.
Four shells, one mounting logic
Every tent in our line bolts to the same rails as our racks and canopy roofs, so the fit question is answered once, not twice:
- Wedge (triangle) tents — the low-profile choice. Sloping lid cuts highway drag and setup time; sleeping length from 2.1 m in the standard width.
- Clamshell (straight-lift) tents — flat floor lifts as one piece. Bedding stays inside, dry, and deployment is under a minute.
- Side-open hardshell tents — hinge on the long side for full-width access; the largest internal volume in the line.
- Electric lift tents — push-button deployment, same hardshell protection.
Shells are aluminium or ABS by model, with insulation-lined canvas options for cold-weather markets. A solar panel can be bolted to the lid — the roof load rides on the tent structure, not your mattress.
What it bolts to
Three proven mounts: our platform rack (450 kg static / 250 kg+ dynamic), a Trigallop canopy roof (150–500 kg static depending on material), or a flat bed rack. Tell us the truck, the year and the tent size, and we confirm the mount and rating in writing before any price is sent — overloading a canopy roof voids warranties everywhere.
What we quote
Tent size (1.4 × 2.1 m up to family widths), shell material, canvas weight, insulation, annex options and mounting hardware are quoted per configuration. EXW / FOB / DAP / DDP terms as with the rest of the line.
